The Christian and Missionary Alliance (the Alliance) is unique as a denomination that largely emphasizes local and world missions. The Alliance began as a missionary society that brought together different people to pray and send missionaries to unreached parts of the world. Today, the Alliance global ministries encompass 13,609 churches and church groups, including more than 4 million people in 81 countries and territories. Beyond just sending missionaries, the Alliance sees the importance of making disciples, planting churches, and empowering the local people to multiply churches and further grow the Kingdom of God.
As a local Alliance church, LACAC is part of a larger Alliance family that contributes regularly to support local and world missions. Through contributions to the Great Commission Fund (GCF), we play an active role in church-planting efforts, as well as supporting individuals to be sent worldwide and for local missions work.
